ABOUT JOHN
John Relihan is an Irish chef with a global flame — a BBQ boss, fire fanatic, and storyteller whose cooking has taken him from the fields of Kerry to smoky kitchens across New York, Brazil, San Francisco, and London.

He kicked things off training with Jamie Oliver, then took the BBQ world by storm — flown to cook across Brazil with Fazenda Churrascada, mastering nose-to-tail butchery in South America, and learning how fire, flavour, and culture collide.

Now based in Dublin, John runs Pitt Bros BBQ — Ireland’s first BBQ joint — and leads a retail line of banging sauces, glazes, and smoky goodness. You'll also find him hosting his legendary Twelve Fires BBQ Masterclass, where the smoke rises, stories flow, and guests learn the secrets of live-fire cooking in an unforgettable setting.

John’s food philosophy?
Don’t overcomplicate it. Respect the animal. Cook over fire. Share the feast.

Because for him, the best memories aren’t made at a table, they’re made around the flames.

Even if we don’t speak the same language, the food does the talking, Food is a language and the fire is my voice.
